Position Description

A construction company is seeking a qualified, full time Accounts Payable/Accounting Clerk for their growing accounting department.  The task driven individual will be responsible for a variety of functions similar to the following:

  • Voucher invoices in a timely manner through a purchase order system ensuring accurate job costing
  • Weekly check runs for vendor
  • Monthly vendor reconciliation
  • Maintain vendor info, pricing, rate increases, material list, W-9’s, Cert. of Insurance
  • Issuance of Form 1099 at year end
  • Monitor office expenses and capital expenses
  • Produce monthly reports

Position Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in accounting or business preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point, outlook).
  • Understanding of Viewpoint software is a plus but not required
  • Exceptional attention to details and highly developed organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
